Football ace poses half-naked in new bodywear range for H&M
Set in stark gym changing room
Star says East London vibe takes him back to his roots

By BIANCA LONDON

Doing what he does best: The official David Beckham for H&M campaign images have been unveiled and they don't disappoint

Football ace, model, style icon, father-of-four, multi-millionaire: David Beckham has quite an impressive CV for someone who hasn't even reached 40.
And his success (and half-naked modelling gigs) show no sign of abating judging by this first look at his latest H&M underwear campaign.
The images, unveiled today by high-street store H&M, shows the 38-year-old doing what he does best: posing in pants.

Finely honed: Beckham locks eyes with the camera as he shows off his toned physique (and new underwear range!)

In a new ad for the Bodywear brand, Beckham showcases the range in his own inimitable way – with a range of brooding looks into the middle distance. Posing in a changing room, the football ace showcases his new collection of briefs and loungewear in a series of sexy images including a few topless ones, much to the delight of his female fans.

East end: The campaign has been designed to have an east London feel, which Beckham says takes him back to his roots

There is a heritage sportswear feel to the new David Beckham Bodywear pieces this autumn and the campaign has been created to evoke an old East London atmosphere.
The collection includes raglan-sleeve jerseys and henleys in athletic greys, alongside grey vests and a three-pack of grey trunks.
There's also casual pyjamas, loungewear and nightwear and this autumn there are ribbed pyjama bottoms, as well as drawstring jersey shorts and trousers.

Lounging around: The collection includes raglan-sleeve jerseys and henleys in athletic greys, alongside grey vests

Casual: Beckham expertly models his new loungewear collection for the high-street giant

The latest campaign marks the latest stage in David Beckham’s long-term collaboration with H&M.
Speaking of his latest collection, Leytonstone born Beckham said: 'I love the heritage athletic style of the new pieces in my Bodywear collection at H&M.
'The vests, pajama pants and raglan sleeve tops are already like wardrobe favorites for me that I know I’ll wear all season long.'
It was great to shoot them in an old-fashioned East End changing room. It was like I had gone right back to my roots.’
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Los Angeles Galaxy star was previously seen showing off his pants –and his impressively toned physique – in a memorable H&M ad directed by British film-maker Guy Richie.

Ben Affleck confirmed to play Batman in Man Of Steel sequel... but fans are split over surprise

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Ben Affleck wins Best Director for Argo at Golden Globes 2013

Ben Affleck has some big shoes to fill.
The Oscar winner has been cast as the new Batman, replacing Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne in the upcoming Man Of Steel sequel, Warner Bros. announced Thursday.
The Argo director will be the eighth actor to play Batman, following in the footsteps of such luminaries as George Clooney and Michael Keaton.

Ben Affleck accepting the Best Picture Oscar for "Argo" earlier this year.

'We knew we needed an extraordinary actor to take on one of DC Comics’ most enduringly popular Super Heroes, and Ben Affleck certainly fits that bill, and then some,' WB president Greg Silverman said in a statement.
The untitled film will be helmed by Man Of Steel director Zack Snyder, and will also star Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and Diane Lane reprising their roles.

High-profile role: Ben Affleck has been cast as the new Batman in the Man Of Steel sequel, Warner Bros announced on Thursday, pictured in June in LA

'Ben provides an interesting counter-balance to Henry’s Superman,' said the director.
'He has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older and wiser than Clark Kent and bears the scars of a seasoned crime fighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne.
'I can’t wait to work with him.'
The movie will bring the two superheroes together for the first time on the big screen.
Last month's announcement of the film at Comic-Con excited fans and fueled speculation as to who would play the famous Caped Crusader.
Ben isn't new to the superhero genre, having played George Reeves, a former Superman, in the 2006 film Hollywoodland. He also played Daredevil in the 2003 movie of the same name, where he met his future off-screen wife Jennifer Garner.
The film is scheduled to start shooting in 2014, and has been slated for a July 17, 2015 release.
But while producers are excited, fans are split over the choice.
Hundreds immediately took to Twitter to voice their opinion on the casting choice, with many deeming the news a 'catastrophe'.

Not happy: Jill Pantozzi tweeted: 'Ben Affleck as #Batman is the worst thing to happen to the franchise since George Clooney's bat nipples...#WTF', George pictured as Batman

'Ben Affleck as #Batman is the worst thing to happen to the franchise since George Clooney's bat nipples...#WTF,' wrote Jill Pantozzi.
Meanwhile, Shae Connor tweeted: 'Jesus. I leave Twitter for, like, a minute, and you guys let Ben Affleck get cast as Batman? YOU HAD ONE JOB!'
'Really looking forward to seeing Affleck bring the depth and gravitas to Batman that he brought to Daredevil and Gigli,' wrote Will Wheaton, referring to some of Ben's less lauded film roles.

Big shoes to fill: Affleck will also replace Christian Bale as the Caped Crusader, pictured in the 2012 film The Dark Night Rises

But others appeared pleased by the news.
'So I really like Ben Affleck...I'm actually pretty pumped. #batman,' wrote Hatley Moore.
Chris Williams tweeted: 'I'm sorry but Ben Affleck as #Batman makes sense to me. I had him in my top 3.'
And celebrities also jumped on the bandwagon, bringing their own brand of humour to the proceedings.
Richard Dreyfus joked about the role, tweeting: 'You read for a part, you feel good about it, you feel confident, then they cast Ben Affleck.'
'I want to congratulate Ben Affleck on winning the part of batman it was some battle but you won fair and square,' wrote Chris Rock.

Future costar: Ben will team up with Man Of Steel's Henry Cavill in the untitled film

Apart from his new news, Ben is also experiencing a bumper year career-wise.
The father-of-three was recently cast in David Fincher's adaptation of the runaway bestseller Gone Girl.
The star also starred in and directed Argo, which won Best Picture at this year's Oscars.

Sparks fly: Ben isn't new to the superhero genre, having playing Daredevil opposite future off-screen wife Jennifer Garner in 2003 film

First picture: After weeks of anticipation, Kanye West shared a snap of his daughter North on Kris Jenner's chat show on Friday

After two months of anticipation, Kim Kardashian's rapper boyfriend Kanye West has revealed the first picture of their baby daughter.
A cherubic photo of baby North West, who was born on June 15, was unveiled on matriarch Kris Jenner's chat show on Friday during the rapper's highly publicized appearance.
During an interview with the excited grandmother, the proud new father, 36, shared the photo with the audience and millions of viewers across America.

Ratings boost: Kanye sat down and chatted to Kris Jenner in an exclusive interview on Friday on her chat show

A snap of baby North flashed up on the screen after Kanye and Kris sat down to discuss the new addition to the family.
And it is clear from the image that the tiny baby possesses features from both her mother and father.
'How cute is that gorgeous baby!! Who do you think she looks like?' Kris gushed over the snap, to which Kanye responded with a laugh: 'I pray that she looks like her mother when she's older.'
Kris told the singer that she thought her granddaughter was an 'amazing combination' of both Kim and Kanye.

Flashback: Kanye and Kim as youngsters

'I think she is an amazing combination of the two of you. She is so adorable. She has Kim's eyes, I think she has your cheeks and both of your lips. Some days she has your lips and some days she has Kim's lips,' she said.
'They dissect her,' Kris explained to the audience.
'Kim would go "Look at her ears mom, look at her ears!" It is so cute how obsessed you guys are.'
Before revealing the snap to the world, Kanye categorically denied that he and Kim had tried to shop first images of their daughter to the media.

Doting dad: The rapper said he hoped his daughter would grow up to look like Kim

'It's all this talk about baby pictures and "can you get paid for the baby picture or do you want to put it on a magazine,"' he explained.
'And for me and your daughter we have not attempted to get paid for anything, we have not attempted to put it on a magazine.'
He said he decided to share the cute image of his baby on Kris's show because he wanted to please little North's grandmother.
'You just stop all of the noise and I thought it would be really cool on her grandmother's season finale to bring a picture of North,' he said.
It was then when he shared the snap, much to the delight of a cheering audience.
During the interview, Kris asked Kanye whether he hopes baby North will follow in her father's footsteps and become a 'rapper'.

Has Miley gone too far? Cyrus strips to nude latex bra and hotpants to perform lewd dance with Robin Thicke at MTV VMAs

Celebrities including Nick Cannon and Brooklyn Decker took to Twitter to blast Miley's performance
Will Smith and his family, Rihanna and One Direction seen looking visibly stunned in the audience

By COLETTE FAHY

All grown up: Miley Cyrus ensured her MTV VMAs performance will be remembered as she gyrated against singer Robin Thicke during a performance of Blurred Lines

She loves to shock but even hardcore Miley Cyrus fans may have thought her performance at the MTV VMAs was too much.
The 20-year-old singer was joined by singer Robin Thicke on stage for a rendition of his hit single Blurred Lines and wasted no time stripping down to a tiny gold bikini.
Miley then proceeded to shake her pert derrière in the 36-year-old star’s face and draped herself all over him during the family friendly show.

Raunchy: Miley draped herself all over Robin after stripping down to a gold two-piece which left little to the imagination

Clearly enjoying herself, Miley’s couldn’t help her signature move of sticking out her tongue as she writhed and gyrated around the married father-of-one, who looked dapper in a black and white striped suit.
Rapper 2Chainz and hip-hop star Kendrick Lamar may have been disappointed not to have gotten the same treatment when they also joined the pair on stage for Give It 2 U.

Bump'n'grind: Miley Cyrus poses provocatively whilst wearing latex underwear on stage

Before her duet with Robin, Miley hit the stage dressed in a teddy bear inspired strapless leotard to sing We Can’t Stop.
She was joined by a host of backing dancers wearing giant teddybears, giving the impression the toys had come to life to dance with her.

It's supposed to be a family-friendly show: Miley Cyrus clearly didn't get the memo as she gets up close and personal with Robin

Even upon arrival the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Miley made sure all eyes were on her as she danced her way down the red carpet in front of screaming fans.
While she’s famous for her twerking skills, the Can’t Be Tamed singer decided to try out some new moves for her audience.
If Miley’s dancing wasn’t guaranteed to get the attention of the crowd, her outfit certainly did, as she stepped out in a bejewelled, vintage Dolce & Gabbana ensemble consisting of a crop top, which showed off her washboard abs, and matching pants.

Miley may have shocked some of her younger fans with her raunchy performance at the MTV VMAs

She finished off with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and black Mary Jane peep-toes.
Cyrus’ blonde hair was pulled back in her new favourite style, two mini buns, and she opted for dramatic red lipstick to complete the daring look.
It’s no wonder Miley was in high spirits, as it was revealed before her red carpet appearance that she is to collaborate with Robin Thicke to Blurred Lines at the show.

Will Smith, wife Jada Pinkett Smith and their kids Willow and Jaden couldn't believe what they were seeing as they watched Miley strut her stuff on stage

Nicole Kidman knocked to the ground by cyclist: Ambulance called to scene after New York fashion show

Taking a tumble: Nicole Kidman was knocked over by a photographer on a bicycle on Thursday as she returned to her New York hotel after attending the Calvin Klein Fashion Week show

Nicole Kidman has been knocked over by a cyclist and according to reports, is planning on pressing charges.
The actress was returning to her hotel after attending the Calvin Klein show on Thursday as part of New York Fashion Week.
Nicole fell to the ground when she was hit by a photographer named Carl Wu, who was apparently racing to try and take a picture for her.

Grimacing: Nicole didn't look happy as she got up and it has been claimed she wants to press charges

According to TMZ Nicole is furious and wants to press charges against the paparazzo.
Police and an ambulance were called and Nicole was treated for minor injuries.
The star was seen hobbling into her hotel with one shoe on as she escaped from the scene after the nasty spill.

BMX Bandit: Carl Wu was racing to take a photo of the actress when he lost control of his bike

She was helped up by assistants and was seen rubbing her right leg which bore the brunt of her weight when she hit the ground.
A security guard was seen wrestling the bicycle of Wu as he lay sprawled on the floor outside the Carlyle hotel.
It is illegal to ride bicycles on the sidewalk in New York City and it is likely that Wu was slapped with a ticket.

That's got to hurt: Nicole did her best to recover swiftly and hop up after the incident

Scary situation: The photographer remained tangled in his bike while Nicole was pulled off the ground

Before the accident Nicole had been having a pleasant day viewing one of her favourite designer's Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
While at the Calvin Klein show Nicole showed off a new bob haircut and her youthful complexion was clear as she wore minimal make-up aside from pink lipgloss.
The actress was also highlighting her teeny tiny waist in a dress which was nipped in with a thin gold belt.

In trouble: A security guard wore a stern face as he talked to the paparazzo, who had his equipment in a rucksack

The frock was dove grey, fell to Nicole’s knees and hugged her slender figure in all the right places.
Nicole teamed it with three tone shows in white, brown and black hues, along with a gold watch and dazzling earrings.
The Stoker star also carried a ponyskin clutch bag and wore large cat-eye sunglasses until she was inside Spring Studios where the show was taking place.

Exit stage right: Other photographers were taking pictures at the scene so a man ushered Nicole into the hotel

Making a quick getaway: The 46-year-old hobbled into her hotel wearing just one of her high heels

Fly in the ointment: Earlier on Nicole had sat beside fellow actresses Rooney Mara and Naomie Harris at Calvin Klein's show

Miley the meme goes viral: Now online pranksters make a laughing stock out of controversial singer's naked video

By MATT BLAKE

Crest of a wave: Miley Cyrus has been the source of so many internet memes in recent months it is becoming increasingly difficult to switch on a computer and not be confronted by her face... or indeed some other body part

Miley Cyrus is no stranger to straddling that fine line between good and bad taste... nor indeed to internet mockery.
But have you ever seen her astride a Russian space rocket, riding a dolphin or hitching a lift on Steve McQueen's motorcycle - completely naked but for a pair of Dr Martens boots?
The former Disney star, 20, has again become the source of fun for internet pranksters who have mocked up a series of pictures of her straddling a variety of animals and famous landmarks.

Eiffel taste! Internet pranksters have mocked up a series of pictures of her wearing nothing but a pair of Doctor Marten boots while straddling a variety of animals and objects, including Paris' iconic Eiffel Tower

The Great Escape: This mock up sees the former Disney starlet hitching a lift on the back of Steve McQueen's motorcycle as he attempts to flee a German prisoner of war camp in the film The Great Escape

The pictures, which have gone viral, were created using a still of her latest music video, Wrecking Ball, which sees the former Disney star writhing naked on a building site and licking a sledgehammer.
The pictures also include the controversial popstar riding a dolphin, the Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty.
It comes days after the music video, directed by US photographer Terry Richardson, overtook that of One Direction's Best Song Ever to be crowned the most played video on Vevo in a single day.

Having a giraffe: The series also includes a picture of the 20-year-old riding a giraffe in the African savannah

Sky high: She is also pictured straddling a Russian space rocket and the Statue of Liberty

In the first 24 hours of its release on Monday, the video was viewed a staggering 19.1million times. By the time of writing it had reached over 70 million views in four days.
The video comes after Miley's now infamous VMA performance, which saw her parade around in a bra and knickers, whilst twerking (again) and performing some other obscure movements with a foam finger.

Subtle as a sledgehammer: The pictures, which have gone viral, were created using a still of her latest music video, Wrecking Ball, which sees the former Disney star writhing naked on a building site and licking a sledgehammer

Record smasher: It comes days after the music video, directed by US photographer Terry Richardson, overtook that of One Direction's Best Song Ever to be crowned the most played video on Vevo in a single day

In an an interview with MTV, the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus compared herself to Madonna and Britney Spears, who also made headlines when they locked lips during a passionate on air kiss 10 years ago at the 2003 VMAs, and she's likely to have some tricks under her belt for her first hosting gig in Saturday Night Live on October 5.
Miley confirmed she'll head up the landmark show and will also perform. Katy Perry will take the baton a week later on the 12th.

Big hit: In the first 24 hours of its release on Monday, the video was viewed a staggering 19.1million times. By the time of writing it had reached over 70 million views in four days

Miley - who is currently in Amsterdam - has been very busy in Europe promoting her fourth album, which is her first album with her new punk look and attitude, which is quite the 180 from the Country Bumpkin image she used to fuel her teenage career.
On Saturday she spanked a Twerking dwarf as she sang We Can't Stop on German TV.
Bangerz will be release on October 8 and the album will reportedly feature a collaboration between Miley and Britney Spears.

New Apple iOS 7 software that will dramatically change the way iPhones look is launched today

Apple's iOS 7 software, right, has been designed to make the iPhone appear bigger, with features deliberately designed to take advantage of the entire screen. Text on iOS 7 appears sharper than on iOS 6, pictured left

Apple customers worldwide will be given the option to download the company’s latest operating system today, called iOS 7, which is being hailed as a new beginning for the firm.
Everything from email to the calendar, texts, phone keypad, photos and notes will look and work differently when the software is rolled out in stages to various handsets starting at around 6pm UK time.
Importantly, traditional icons have been scrapped under the redesign masterminded by Apple's' British design chief Sir Jonathan Ive.

Apple's iOS 7 software, pictured, is available for customers from 18 September. It has been in beta release since June. The Airdrop feature lets users share photos, video and contacts simply by clicking share and selecting a fellow iOS 7 user from a contacts list. A similar feature is already available for Mac computers

The new iOS 7 Control Centre, pictured, allows users to adjust settings and playback with just one swipe from the bottom of the screen

Ive introduced iOS 7 as an 'important new direction' when he showcased the software at Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco earlier this year.

The operating system has a cleaner look than its predecessors and has been described by Apple’s CEO Tim Cook as 'the biggest change to iOS since the introduction of the iPhone.'
Its launch this week coincides with the release of two new iPhones - set to go on sale from Friday.

The iPhone 5s has a built-in fingerprint scanner that reads a users' prints using the home button.
Touch ID replaces an App Store password when buying music, apps or books.
It uses a 'laser cut sapphire crystal' to take a high-res image scan and the Touch ID software in iOS 7 determines whether the print belongs to the owner or not.
Apple reassured users that the feature is secure by explaining 'all fingerprint information is encrypted and stored securely inside the device's chip' adding the prints are not stored on an Apple server, or backed up to iCloud.

The software is being launched to coincide with the release of two new iPhones - set to go on sale from Friday. The iPhone 5C comes in five colours and is a plastic version of the current iPhone 5 model. Apple's iPhone 5S, pictured, is a high-end model that has a fingerprint scanner built into the phone's home button

Traditional icons and services on iOS 6, such as the weather app pictured left, are being scrapped under the redesign masterminded by Apple's' Brit designer Sir Jonathan Ive. The right image shows the new weather app

These images compare the current calendar app, left, with the updated iOS 7 design, pictured right
