Woman of the moment: Miley Cyrus certainly didn't disappoint as she well and truly brought the shock factor to Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome venue ahead of what promised to be a rather eventful night at the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards on Sunday



It was very much a case of all eyes on her as the great and good of the showbiz world geared up for the 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards on Sunday night.
And Miley Cyrus certainly didn't disappoint as she well and truly brought the shock factor to Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome venue ahead of what promised to be a rather eventful night.
Cementing her reputation as the bad girl of pop, the 20-year-old singer strutted her stuff in a pair of monochrome chequered thigh-high boots, a plunging halterneck top... and very little else.

Dare to bare: Showcasing her tiny frame in her skimpy choice of ensemble, the Wrecking Ball hitmaker chose a somewhat unusual outfit given that she was attending a star-studded awards ceremony

Pushing the boundaries: But aside from her rather daring choice of outfit, the young star pushed the boundaries even further as she lit up a suspicious-looking cigarette on stage while accepting her award for Best Video

Minty fresh: On the other end of the scale, Katy Perry went for an altogether more prim and proper look as she hit the red carpet alongside her fellow pop princesses

Hollywood glamour: Rita Ora opted for a relatively low-key look considering her usual wacky and wild sartorial tastes as she took to the red carpet

Someone's not shy! The Australian rapper seemed keen to show off her figure as she posed up a storm for photographers at the event

Dare to bare! The pair were surrounded by scantily-clad woman, wearing little else than skimpy bikini bottoms, with their modesty protected by simply a slick of silver body paint and diamond nipple covers
